I had transspenoidal surgery on december. I started having a mild but continuous headache with build up in the right nostril in about february which lasted for about 7 weeks. I mentioned it at my endo appt. He ordered an MRI which showed no changes. Luckily the local paper had an acticle on sinus infections and my symptoms matched the description of a sinus infection of the sphenoid sinus. My pcp prescribed antibiotics and now I am fine. It is not good to have any kind of sinus infection on top of the surgery better go get it checked out. By the way I have 2 hip replacements so had masses of antibiotics during and after the surgery. Sinus infections require a different antibiotic.
