Hey Charlie,
I have been
on HGH for only 6 months now. I am also on .4. How high should your
level be? Mine was 125 at last check. They did not increase. I
go to see Dr. Blevins in August. I can really see a diff in my body
composition. My pants fit better, even though I have not lost
weight. Did you notice a change in your body comp too? Are you
taking estrogen/progesterone replacement?

My two cents worth...and
experience...*S*
Yep, you can get "steroid euphoria" when
you start prednisone...I got a real good case of it. I am
now off the steroids, thank you very much! Also, I am on
HGH....have been for almost five years, now, since my first
surgery. I am now over two years post-op my second surgery and
still on HGH. Just had a check-up at Vanderbilt last week
and my HGH wasn't high enough to suit my doc so I've been
increased to 1.0 from 0.8. I started at 0.4 and have been
VERY gradually increased since then. I think it took me 4-6
weeks to really see a difference in the way I felt when I
first started on the HGH. Now, it takes about a week when I
have an increase to see a difference.
I also had an
adrenal adenoma and finally had it removed in Jan this year.
I was told I would see a difference in about 6 months....yep, I
can see a difference. I've lost over 20 pounds and was told
last week that that tumor was secreting cortisol. Joy. I am
now losing the weight again, but I have to go up on the
HGH...small price to pay if I feel better (yep...I did say
"small price" and I DO know it is definitely NOT a small
price!) I did not handle stress very well....actually, I think
"I" handled it better than my body did. But, we'll see what
some life changes will do to help me feel and function
better....I'll keep you
posted.
