Thanks for all of the support you have all given me!
Just to give an update, I have decided to go with Dr. Ewend at UNC-CH for my surgery. It will be on June 23rd. I really like this doctor. I went in to meet him for a consultation and I ended up meeting him and another neurosurgeon and two endocrinologist. I thought I was going to be there for about an hour discussing my history and my condition. I was there for about 3 hours and it was absolutly amazing. The next day two of the doctors called me at home to talk to me about more of my options and to see if I had any more questions.
I just don't no how to feel this time around though. It has only been 3 months since my first surgery. Before my first surgery I was extremely confident and had no doubts about the care I was receiving. I have learned alot since then and from the neurosurgeons I have spoken to in the last few weeks. I have found out that I still have a macroadenoma which is not what I was told from my first neurosurgeon. It is hard to put your trust in another doctor so quickly. Has anyone out there had to go through more than one surgery? How did you get past the fear? I need to find my positive attitude again. I need my strength and hope back!
