Yes, I think you should have been told of all the possibilities.  I know when I started my growth hormone shots 2 months ago that I had to ask about the possibility of becoming ACTH deficient and having adrenal fatigue.  I was told that I would have to be closely monitored.  I knew the signs and symptoms.  I've been trying for the last 2 weeks to get properly tested, but it didn't happen.  And then the short term dose of pred couldn't take care of it when I became ill and the adrenal fatigue set it.  For me, I will be on lifetime hormone replacement for everything.  The only thing I wasn't taking yet was the steriod for adrenal function.  I agree that you should have been warned.  At my next doc appt this month, I'm going to tell them what I think about what happened to me, and I think you should do the same.
