JGH, The best advice that you can recieve is to find the most qualified nero-surgeon that specializes in Pit Tumors. There can be a substantial difference in outcomes, side effects, etc. depending on the skill and experience of the nero-surgeon. Travel if you have to!! Overall this is not as scary as it seems at first. There are several different tecniques used to remove the tumor and all of them can be very successful depending on the surgeon.
