Hey Shell and all,

Today I feel just great, in fact I made the 'turn' about 2 days ago- I feel so much better! I have a bit of congestion and thats it. By the way, anyone have know how long that takes? I am happy to say that I have gotten a bit of smell and taste back- yay! far sooner than I expected. I sneezed this afternoon and just about freaked out, again 2 more time this evening, I tried to avoid it, but sometimes, you just can't. I have my ENT appt Monday, I think I was told the nasal stitches dissolve, but I have some questions about that given I can feel the "wirey" ends sometimes- doesn't seem real disolvable (word?) could be wrong- any insight?
Today I checked in with the Pit clinic and was told they plan to wean me off the hydrocortizone- so I guess thats good. I made the mistake of taking the eve pill LATE and was up until 4am even after 3 Tylenol PM! Won;t make that mistake again.

I think I got brain overload (no pun intended) towards my surgery date and didn't fully comprehend next steps.  The bloodwork I get for the next two weeks is fairly basic- no exotic hormonal stuff- when is that measured? at the 6 week follow-up? Just if anyone happens to know.
Tomorrow I begin (again) to train for the Marathon (how this all started  )  My PCP gave me the green light- I am definitely a little scared, but I'll just take it as it comes. Those of you out there who have dealt with this and acro- did you notice your muscles kind of deflate? In my case I am pleased with that, but was wondering if this was common.

Thanks as always for the support, I feel great, thanks for seeing me through this, so far so good.
