I know it seems odd, but surgery was the best part of my experience with a pituitary tumor: it totally removed my tumor so I never had to deal with it again! As you hear over and over, the surgeon is critical. I went to Shahinian at the Skull Base Institute in Los Angeles, and the surgery was done through my right nostril in a totally endoscopic method. My face had no sign that I had been through surgery and I have a photo of myself at the movies the next day to prove it. I know that sounds unbelievable but it is true.
