Thanks for the great research! My dentist has requested my radiological records from Columbia Presbyterian in NYC. It's been a week so far, and I won't be surprised if it takes alot longer.
I was told in '83 that I had been given a "lifetime" dose of radiation. I was told 5600 rads over 49 days. When I told this to the dentist, she just whinced. I've never been able to get an answer as to how many chest x-rays would equal 5600 rads. I was always looking for a comparison I could understand.
Thanks again and I'll keep posting as the info comes in.
