Hi Meri – We have already used the “tumor card” to get Jason a private room. I felt that is was imperative that he be able to escape from others when it is necessary. Once Jason is in school he has promised me that he will contact his RA and let him know about his issues, and he will get support through the school for his classes. He is taking 12 credits which is the minimum load to be considered full time, but he did back down and take a lower level math course than what he tested for. He should be OK, but he can still drop a class if he becomes overwhelmed. He is going to be close to home so we will be able to support him if he needs it. He will move in on Monday and then I will pick him up for his MRI on Tuesday. It does not feel like I am dropping him off at school because he has so many doctor appointments in the next few weeks. Anyway – I appreciate you insight into college and pituitary issues. I think very few people understand the complexity of this disease. Take care - Chris
