I had a terrible time adjusting to Dostinex, seems like the side effect are so different from person to person. It took me about 4-5 months to be able to take the medication and tolerate the side effects... I have been on the medication and it seems I NEED MORE SLEEP... when I take the medication and don't sleep enough hours, less the 8 or 7, I feel terrible ( yes, I know anyone would - but usually I could do okay with this amount of sleep).... I had a heavy head feeling for weeks in the begining of the medication... no dry mouth or hip or joint pains.. Just strange head sensations, more need for sleep, groggy - slugish feeling the day after the medication... I went from taking the pill once a week to currently 3 times a week... I can handle it fine now because I know how my body responses to it... in time your body should as well.. but doctors will take you off if you feel you cannot tolerate.. Take Care! |
