My pituitary adenoma was found in 2003. Including that MRI, I have had a total of 4 MRI's that show a 4mm x 5mm pituitary adenoma. I am having symptoms of cushings disease and have had several high UFC's. However, not high enough to be diagnostic. My TSH is always low indicating hyperthyroid but thats crazy because I have gained 100 pounds. My free T4 runs on the very low side of normal and I have had one free T4 that was below normal. Anyway, my question is, can a pituitary adenoma just disappear? I had a dynamic MRI the first part of August and this 4mm x 5mm "thing" is no where to be found. Is that not strange? I am still having symptoms of cushings. Also my GH is low but I am not currently on GH replacement because the doc that did the stim test wouldn't give me a scrip for it. |
