I know what it is like to be searching for answers for quite sometime. I had my surgery this past June and recovering now. Have they done any urine free cortisol tests, saliva tests, blood tests checking ACTH levels? Have they checked the prolactin levels, etc? Those are tests that come to mind. Definitely check out some pituitary centers thru a google search or ask jeeves that are your best options. You want to find the best doctors who are experienced in the diagnosing of what is exactly wrong and the best neurosurgeons for pituitary tumors. Tumors may be hormonally active or inactive. Mine turned out to be active but in a cyclical nature, meaning it wasn't always active all the time. When that happens it is even more difficult for the doctors to diagnose and takes extra time to collect test results etc. Just do not give up and stay determined to get diagnosed!!! And keep reaching out as you are now....that will help you gain more and more knowledge and learn the best things to do to help improve your health. Support is important.
All the best! Marty |
