The literature on acromegaly mentions both weakness and spasms. My pituitary endo also spoke of having patients with weakness and spasms. I think he said that the problem went away when the hormone levels were normalized. This is where it is good to have an endo at a pituitary center with lots of experience. My local endo had never heard of this. It is a 2.5 hour trip and I get very annoyed with the pituitary endo's patient interaction ability but then he pops up with info based on experience with these wierd problems and I know I will keep going to see him.
