Problems with vision

What you are experiencing is something I had and I don't have a tumor (my husband does which is why I check this board).  I don't know your age but older people, especially those who are very nearsighted, often get a separation of the vitreous fluid from the retina which causes flashes of light and floaters.  Eventually the light flashes disappear as the separation becomes complete,  but the floaters remain although you will probably get accustomed to them.  This is not a serious problem but  you should see an opthamologist immediately as sometimes this process can cause tearing of the retina which is serious.
My terminology may be off and of course you should not take my experience as a diagnosis of your problem.
