My endo has recommended radiotherapy which would probably end up destroying my pituitary gland. I have also been quite worried about the aftermath. I attended an acromegaly patient education day and ended up sitting next to a woman at lunch who had ended up with no pituitary function and was doing very well. She stated that she had never been much of a pill person but with replacement hormones was doing well. Good luck.
