I had 90% of my Pituitary gland removed when I had mine Done, and the ongoing medication , isn't that bad.
Thyrocine , cortisone, and ( yeeehaaaaaa they final let use use the gel in OZ ) testosterone gel .
stick to the regime , and all will be well. I haven't had any prob;ems so far.

Annetta,
Are they suggesting that the whole pituitary gland will be removed, or are they just going to remove the tumor from the pituitary gland. Most of us have had just the tumor removed and as much of the pituitary gland as posible saved. Without the gland your husband will be dependent on hormone theaepy for the rest of his life. Most Docs try to avoid this.
