New Message on Pituitary Chat Testosterone/tumor Question Reply   Reply to Sender   Recommend Message 4 in Discussion From: CortisoneKing This is Cortisone King.  I used to use Androgel and also the patch (forgot what it was called).  I tried both, they both sucked.  I get my testosterone the old fashioned way, a shot in the butt twice a month.  It gives you a feeling like you are sixteen years old.  I am really laid back, but when I get my shot it makes me a little more aggressive.  They took out the tumor through my forehead and my tumor was the size of a half dollar and two inches thick.  It took four hours to do the surgury in 1983.  I have the Frankenstein scar.  If you want your hormones to be regulated I would recommned the shots over the Androgel.  Your Endo's nurse can teach a family member how to give them to you and he can write a script for the needles and the testosterone.  Hang in there, it will get better.    Cortisone King View other groups in this category.
