Hey Alex!
Welcome to the group!

Actually, I think seeking the advice of an endocrine team is a good idea!
MGH is a good hospital, and they have a good team. It is far away, and you could have repeat trips.

Actually, I think your doctor made a good recomendation.
Dr. Rosseau is an excellent physician!

The thing is that the tumor seems to be growing - again. I don't know what kind of endocrine care you have locally, but it may be worth it to see Dr. Rosseau, and see also if she has an endocrine specialist in mind that could give you a second opinion. It sounds like things are still out of balance.

Did I understand that the surgeon totally removed her pituitary gland? If so, am I correct in understanding that residual tumor cells grew from nothing to 10mm?

There is a good team in Michigan too -- The surgeon is Dr. William Chandler

I understand your frustration and I can really relate to the mood swings etc. You really need to talk with the physicians. It may be a tumor issue, but then again, it could be hormonal imbalance.

Good luck... and get those other opinions!

Minnie
