Hi, my first Endo appointment was 1 year ago. He did a simple exam, looked over my body, thyroid and so fourth... very simple, just to make sure I had normal growth. He will look over your lab results to see if your levels are all normal besides the prolactin. Normally they start you on medication to lower the prolactin and also shrink the tumor. I was started on a low dose of Dostinex, 1 tab a week. A year later my tumor has shrunk 50 percent, I had a 10mm tumor and a prolactin of 268 - which my last test reflected a level of 30.1...
