Yes, it is important to have people around you that really understand what is going on because the problem with these diseases is that we don't look sick- however we definately are. It's so frustrating to lose the ability to function as we once did. People who don't have these problems simply do not understand and infact can sometimes accuse us of 'being lazy' or having psychosomatic problems & that nothign is really wrong with us. Very frustrating indeed, but just gotta keep on each day as best we can. I've always been one who did things for others- it has been a very humiliating experience to have to rely ont others now- the biggest thing for me is knoweing that I'm now a 'burden' instead of an asset- can't quite ge5t past that feeling.
