I understand why you wanted it changed. Early on, I was also told that mine was "non-functioning" and could not be causing any of my symptoms. I did not appreciate the term. Turns out, it was "functioning" and secreting excess ACTH and I was diagnosed with Cushing's disease which definitely causes all my symptoms.   I know how you feel-the tumor definitely causes problems and hormonal imbalance whether it is secreting or non-secreting.   Take care.
