had a problem with my weight and had back surgery in 2002 to correct a disc problem my gynecologist and i are really good friends and she was going to try out this water aerobics class and she loved it so i tried it myself my goodness best move i ever made because whatever pain problems you have it wont aggrevate them for me this was a blessing because i have a pool at the house so i could work out as much as i want let me tell you i dropped over 80 pounds in 6 months and i have been maintaining my weight for over 3 years now but you have to be consistant. My endo has told me that i am living proof for maintaining healthy weight with diagnosed conditions of the endocrin but let me tell you its hard because i have days where that my energy level is so low that i barely have the strenght to walk from one room of the house to the other but i had this little talk with god and decided to take the mind over matter approach to getting in the pool at least 3 days a week it works for me!! maybe if you try water aerobics i might help you be able to start moving again and getting the weight under control just a suggestion
