That's interesting. I have reactive hypoglycemia - I get the symptoms of hypoglycemia (shakey, sweaty, etc.) but my glucose drops but stays within normal limits. Evidently, I am reacting to the decrease in glucose according to the endo and dietician. I have increased my protein intake and am eating small amounts every 2 to 3 hours. This seems to be helping. In addition, I am hyperparathyroid which also causes proximal weakness. I am seeing an endocrine surgeon regarding the results of a parathyroid scan I had 2 weeks ago. I probably have another of those pesky adenomas and will have to have it (them) removed.
