Hi-
Are you on any medication? My tumor was very large (2.5cm) and has shrunk down to about 1.2 cm (as of last MRI in Sept). I am on Dostinex, and have been for 9 months now.

A few months ago I started having similar symptoms to you (dizzinees, feeling faint, racing heart, and loss of appetite), which turned into panic attacks. So, now I am on medication for anxiety and feeling much better.

My 2 MRIs that I have had stated that my tumor was not pressing on my optic nerve, which was good news, since my tumor was very big. And my original prolactin level was 455! I did have a vision field test just to make sure, and that checked out fine.

I hope you can get to an Endo and get the medication that will help you. Do you think it might be anxiety? When I was having anxiety problems, I thought is was tumor or Dostinex related, but it was not.

Best wishes to you, and to answer your question, I have not had to miss work due to my tumor (I had it for a long time and never even knew it and never had any symptoms other than sinus type headaches). I work as a flight attendant, but I did miss work due to the anxiety, and it was just because I just physically could not eat or even get out of bed to walk across the room, that to me was the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with!

The only thing I do worry about is as I get older (I am almost 35) that I will get worse, I have read so many stories such as yours where people seem to having terrible symptoms. You said you have had this for 14 years, do you feel worse now? Or the same?

Best wishes.
