Hi all... I'm Steve, and was just told I have a non-hormone producing Pituitary Tumor. The endocronoligist is attempting to eliminate it with bromocriptine. My neuro-surgeon (who just repaired two vertebra in my neck, and will also do this surgery) doesn't think the drugs will work on this type of tumor. My wife and I have pretty much decided on surgery. He said he will go "in" under my upper lip and also through the nose. This doesn't sound like fun at all. I would much rather be fishing! Could anyone give me some insight on what to expect immediately after surgery, and long term? I am very anxious about having this done. |
