Judy, if you have a diagnosis of Fibro, there is a Med you should discuss trying with your Doctor- the name is Lyrica (Parabalin). Alot of Fibro patients are gettting much better sleep with it and are having more strength during the day. I thought I had Fibro becasue of the symptoms I was haviong & my Doc put me on the med, but it didn't really help with the weakness- turns out htouhg that my problem wasn't Fibro, but Crohn's disease. During that time though, I checked out Fibro forums, and noted that people were finally getting good night's sleep on the med. It's a fairly safe drug that is used for parkinsons beleive it or not, but it is showing promise with Fibro as well, which is unusual becasue not much helps fibro from what I understand. I can tell you that I slept quite soundly while on it. Docs like prescribing Antidepressents for Fibro, some of which can also help you sleep well, and help some with muscle strength, but they don't last long. One other hting- I take Tramadol for when my muscle weakness and joint aches are at their worst, this does help some, but again, my problem is due to Crohn's & not Fibro, so I dunno if it'd help for you or not, but I can tell you that my symptoms are much like yours & the Tramadol does help
