My levels when I first got diagnosed six years ago were around 37-42. Once test was at 99 but the GP thought that was a lab error. However, when I got my MRI they were surprised at the size of the tumor compared to the prolactin levels. It was still a micro at around 7mm but they were surprised. At present it's at 99.1. My current symptoms are as bad as they were when I was first diagnosed with the levels much lower. I always wonder when I see really high prolactin levels and then see mine and realize my symptoms are still bloody bad and my quality of life isn't great - is it worse when you have higher prolactin? I mean, are we all striving for really low levels like 13? And at that level is that when our symptoms completely disappear? |
