I think I'll try going back on the cortef first before I move onto GH (although I have seen the same studies about the long-term effects of no GH replacement, and don't think I have much of a choice but to ultimately start with GH supplementation). I may just try doubling up on the prednisone for a couple of days first. 2.5 mg/day seems like a pretty low dose for replacement purposes, from what I've seen in the literature.
