Darn! I was all set for parathyroid surgery this morning and they cancelled it. Evidently, I have a urinary tract infection. Not a good thing to have at the time of surgery. Luckily, they called me before I travelled 2.5 hours to get to the hospital. Surgery is a major arrangement thing so I had to call 7 people to let them know that the plans had been changed. Hopefully, I can arrange a new time soon. Yesterday I was doing the "At this time tomorrow the surgery will be over" thing - now I will have to start all over.
