Hi Tina, Interesting article, thanx for sharing it. To add to that information, I once saw a Medical mystery-type show on DHC and it was about a lady who was over-dosing on DHEA. She died. It had caused her to have heart problems and they could not figure out why she was so ill. They finally attributed it to the huge amount of otc DHEA that she was taking. She wanted to feel "younger" and increase her libido. She was only in her late 30s. I have abnormally high DHEA and gonadal hormones (testosterone, estrogen, etc.) Mine is attributed to the pituitary tumor hormonal imbalance and PCOS. Take care. Thanx again for sharing the article. Any drug is dangerous if it is not taken in moderation-that is why you always ask your doctor before taking anything. Meri |
