After reading Debby's post, I didn't interpert any negative inferences towards Canada's health system. I, however will infer that their system is lacking. A CT scan and diagnosis in September and no plan of action yet? Who's the rocket scientist who suggests pit tumors grow slowly? I've had five procedures, two of which were performed within one year's time because of rapid growth. I've had three crainiotomies, one endo-nasal and one gamma knife procedure, and I'm still not done. This thing is highly aggressive and has now grown upwards into the third ventrical area causing hydrocephalis. I will most likely be undergoing another surgery within the next couple of months to correct this condition. Don't assume anything, demand a plan of action now. Mark |
