Hi everyone, I wanted to share something that happened to me in Jan 05.  I was looking in the mirror one morning while I was putting my makeup on and noticed my left front tooth was longer than the other. It was very noticeable.  I have only had 2 cavaties in my whole life and they both were so small that I didn't have to get a nocaine shot.  So I went onto work and several of my coworkers noticed it also.  I called my dentist and told them so I went in that same day after work.  The Dentist had no answer or reason for this, I told her I had the transphenoidal under the lip surgery to remove a pit tumor in 2001, would that have anything to do with it.  Of course, she had never heard of such a procedure or even a pit tumor?? She continued to shave it off to be even with my other tooth, just for those few minutes of grinding it cost me just over $200!!! I coulnd't believe it.  I contacted my neurosurgeon and advised what had happened to me, did this have anything to do with the surgery.  His assistant called me back and advised the Dr never had a patient contact him about this in the past, he said it could be possible and not to rule it out.  Has anyone had this problem several years after the transphenoidal surgery?? It's like it all happened over night, I always look in the mirror doing my makeup and brushing my teeth and never noticed anything till that one morning.   I know it sounds strange, but nothing seems to surprise me with this pit tumor stuff, it's one thing after another.  Thanks for taking time to read this and I appreciate any responses! Judy
