Hello! Like many I have the FAT belly-:) I also had some odd new symptoms like numbness. I have been getting poked and prodded the last two weeks...yeah! Love that. No explanation for my belly yet. I have increased my activity including regular walking. I get dizzy if I bounce around like a kid-:) I changed my diet completely. That feels good. I am seeing a Chiropractor 3X a week and my numbness has stopped. Thank God, it appears to be unrelated to the tumor!!! My Cortisol is high but still at the cut off for normal. This does however concern my endo. Thank God for that. My ACTH is low which concerns her even more. Apparently with the two like that it usually is not the Pit and is the adrenals? Anyone had experience with that? My B-12 is low???? Go figure that one? Anyone experienced something as odd as that? My doctor was thinking Insulin Resistance until the ACTH and Cortisol. She was going to put me on a medication for blood sugar even though that part of my work up looks fine. However she has changed her mind until we get back the latest 24 hour urine...I really dislike that test-:) As a refresher, I have a non operable nonfunctioning microadenoma. Any suggestions, comments experiences? HUGS to all!!! Tina |
