dostinex and acne

Hello everyone... here's my issue,

I'd never had a problem with acne before.  After a few months of taking Dostinex I noticed increased acne on my back and some on my face (at first .25mg twice weekly then later reduced to total .25mg weekly ).  I figured it was just an early side effect that would go away with time. Unfortunately about 8-9 months into my dostinex use I had bad acne all over my face and back.  My face had gone from a clean smooth skin tone, to very oily and very pimply (side note. my anxiety also shot up unbearably). Because of this I stopped the dostinex, this was back in 2003.

Since then I've tried supplements and herbs to try to regain the mental and mood increase that dostinex did for me. Unfortunately nothing has quite given me that piece of mind like the dostinex. I've had recent blood work done again and my new endo suggests I give dostinex another try (elevated prolactin 50, and low testosterone).

I'm worried the acne will become an issue again. Has anyone had a similar reaction? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

mrduck
