Hi Meri,
He had life threghtening (sp) high Calcium. He also has MEN1 which we think caused the high calcium .. he have brought it up to his surgen on numberous occasions but she keeps saying it is normal and will go away but I don't think it is normal and it hasn't gone away ... He has 1/3 of one parathyroid implanted in his left forarm that is supposed to regulate his calcium but it seems to not be working like it should so he still has to take his calcium pills. It is very frustraighting to say the least.

He did have a full hormone workup before the surgery.

We just moved to IL in Mid February and haven't been able to find a new Dr. yet. But we have been looking.

He is about the same way with the numbness. Are you tired a lot as well? His Dr. told us that he would have more energy after the surgery but it seems like he has less.

Thank you for the information. Take care.
