Hi, my neurosurgeon called with the results of my MRI and said that the 7mm tumor they saw on the CT scan (last september) is much smaller at 1-2mm! I wasn't on any medication or any treatment during that time. How could that have happened or are CT scans that unreliable or is it just the discretion of the dr reading the scans. I'm surprised (and glad) that it's pretty much not a problem. Although he did suggest follow-ups on the prolactin (don't know why when it went down to 14 right after the CT scan) and just an overall watch for any troubling symptoms and suggestion to see endo if prolactin rises or troubling symptoms come up. I haven't seen a copy of the MRI report, but will ask for a copy. Debbie |
