Hi, my name is Rachel and I had the same surgery as you in March of 2005. Initally I felt lousy on steroids. At first I was on too high a dose of Dexamethasone and experienced weight gain, major stretch marks on my legs and facial hair - all signs of Cushing's Syndrome. My doctor changed me to Prednisone 5MG per day and I feel so much better. I have been on the new meds for 6 months now and I have been able to lose weight, the stretch marks have gone and I feel great. Hang in there and feel free to contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED].
