Thank you all for the replies. I am sorry for not responding right away, but I have been not feeling very social. My GP had me on Topamax and my cognitive reasoning went out the window. I am now slowly getting it back. I have been seeing an Endo and a neurosurgeon about once a year. They are 4 1/2 hrs away and the closest ones to me. ![]() Since I have been on Dostinex, my prolactin levels have normalized around 29. I am still lactating and my chest is still huge. The neurologist I was seeing put me on steriods to try and "break" the headache. I have since found out that I had an adverse reaction to the steroids. My Endo suggests staying away. lol I think thats a wise choice. I am scheduled to see the neurologist again, but not until September 13. I have just recieved copies of my medical files as my GP has moved to a different town. Reading the MRI results I found out that they think I have a "Rathke's cleft cyst and a small focal area of hemorrhage". Not sure what that means. I am in the process of finding a new GP (total of 4 in town accepting new patients). Reading what I typed kinda sounds bitter, I don't mean to be. Sorry. Thanks to all the caring and helpful people on this site. Just reading everyone's posts help you realize that you are not alone. That makes things ALOT more bearable. Cheers! |
