Geeez, I only know of one UofM that specializes in Pituitary Gland treatment.
I went to see the doctors there but they seemed cold, uncaring and rushed. They specialize in the type of tumors you mention. Me, I've never had a tumor.
A few blood simple blood test will clear things up.
Test your TSH, free T4 and T3
Testosterone, free testosterone and bioavailable, maybe even DHT too
Test your Cordisone. A blood check is not good enough, you need a 24 hour urine test for this (sucks I know, but do it anyways)
Your prolactin levels should be tested.
An IGF-1 test might be good too, for Growth Hormone.

Now having any one of these off could cause some of your symptoms and does not mean your tumor is serious, but  one or a few way out of wack results and the University of Michigan Pituitary Clinic might be a good move for you.

And CT scans don't count, make sure you have a MRI every 6 months to monitor the tumor.

I am in the North Detroit Suburbs and have some limited sucess researching things myself and just going to see an endocrinologist semi-regularly. If you live nearby and need a reference let me know.
I hope you have good insurance, and don't let it laspse. You'll need it. Or your journey will be way more difficult.

Matt
