Hi Itsmazza! You could have idioapthic hypopituitarism, but it would be a good idea for you to have more testing to ensure you don't have a tumor that is pressing on the pituitary. I'd ask the endo how he can be so sure that you don't have a pituitary tumor without doing more tests.
 
You could see a neuroopthamologist and see how your eyesight is. With larger pitutiary tumors, the visual field can be comprimised. A visual field test can measure how well your peripherial vision is. I learned from my neuropthamologist that in the days before CT scans and MRI's that this method is how many pituitary tumors were found and diagnosed outside of hormonal testing for hypersecretory tumors.
 
I thing your should challenge your doctor, but nicely, with considering the possibility that you might have a pituitary tumor, and if he'd be willing to at least entertain some additional testing to sort out your hypopituitarism. You can research some medical papers and back up your challenge with published data from other physicians. www.pubmed.com is a good place to start. You can also search the medical journals from the Endocrine Society.
