Susan first of all I'm sorry to hear about your story and I understand this must be a very difficult time for you. I will only answer based on my experience. I was dx with 8 mm pit tumor in June 2006. I just turned 42 three days ago. I missed a period in June, but then I was placed on cabergoline my period returned July. My prolactin lever has gone from 71 to 1.6. I am expecting my period on 8/11/06 so will see. Now I asked my doctor to reduce cabergoline from a whole pill 2 times were week to 1/2 pill. Mainly because I've been having weird symtoms and I"m not sure if the cabergoline started. Maybe go see your OBGYN and see what they say. Also this is not related to your issue. But I started feeling bad in May 2006, after taking Lamisil for the anti fungus for my toe nail. So I personally believe this raised my prolactin level but I have no way of proving this. So I dont know if this helps. I dont have any children and my husband and I were undecided so I have no idea what the future holds. Either way you and I are going to get thru this somehow. I send you my best wishes. Alex |
