Hi donnau
Im just back from vacation.

I went to the docs cuz I was lactating not cuz of menstrual problems. I was on Birth Control at the time which made periods come.

At the time I did'nt know there was any other drug. And towards the end of taking Bromo I read on line to take it vaginally and I did. What a difference it makes I didnt feel as bad.

Yes I did lose some weight after starting the Bromo. About 20lbs the 1st year and then I started gaining again (while on bromo and  birth control) My periods stopped for two years don't know why. So instead of the Gyno & endo they sent me to.  I chose my own and went to Mass. General Endocrine clinic Great place. They took me off everything except the Birth Control  to see what would happen . Still didnt get periods. I was so sick of the weight up to 204lbs.

I then took my self off Birth control 7/05 and went on a diet . I cut the calories to 1100 per day, all carbs had to have atleast 2grams or more of fiber. and I exercise 3-4 days per week. This all Took about 1 year. Not an easy task but so much fun when its done.

I have a doc appt on 10/14 hopefully all is still going good. But I have been feeling quite weird lately. But the weight has stayed off. I do take metformin for PCOS. I think Metformin helps along with my healthy diet & exercise. Sorry for the long response.
