I think you may want to have additional information. Looks like you have osteopenia which is a precursor to osteoporosis. Are you having adequate nutritional intake? It would probably be a good idea to have your physician test a couple of other things: Parathyroid hormone (PTH), ionized calcium, serum calcium, and vitamin D. This problem would be better handled by your primary physician and maybe an endocrinologist if you have abnormal results to your blood test as opposed to your orthopedist.
