I would like some advice on some recent labs and symptoms I've been having.  I would like someone to steer me in the right direction.

FT3 189 (210-440)
T3 83 (60-181)
TSH 1.01 (.49-4.67)
T4 5.98 (4.5-12)
T-Uptake 42.29% (25.8-42.5)

DEXA Scan hip T-Score -2.0

I'm 31-female-in good shape...Over the last few years, I've broken several bones and had a couple of stress fractures (I'm a runner).  My periods have changed--much shorter and slightly irregular, and I've been getting headaches (often, but not too severe).  I've put on about 5lbs, but nothing too major.  I'm also sleeping a great deal, at least ten hours a night-not by choice.  An orthopedic ordered these tests because of my last stress fracture.  I was really suprised at how poor my bones are, considering my lifestyle.  I'm wondering if, with these tests, I should explore further into the possibilty of having a problem with my pituitary.  I certainly don't want to be looking for a problem or overeacting; but I also don't want to ignore something that can be fixed.

I never really have thought of any of the "symptoms" as being a problem...each individually doesn't seem like a big deal, so I'm afraid of looking like an idoit if I get an appointment with a endocrinologist and my labs aren't off enough to warrent worry (I'm not a big fan of going to the doctor unless I really need to).  I guess I would like to get a ...What I Would Do...from a few people.  I have a follow-up with the orthopod tomorrow.

Thanks So Much!!
Jen
