Hi, I am 44 yrs old and my history is that my first pit tumor was removed in 2004, and my second was mostly removed last year around the same time(in April). I had gamma knife radiosurgery last October. I had an MRI in in March of this year along with metabolic bloodwork. A second MRI was done in September along with another round of bloodwork. My GH was very low and my last post(Very low GH, and endo says need it), explains the process up to now. Basically my endo waited for my radiologist/neurologist to research and give the ok to start GH replacement because she was concerned about making the tumor regrow with treatment. So, here I am waiting to get started on growth hormone treatment. Hope this answers some of your questions. Peace, Judy |
