Hi Josie,

How did your overnight dex test go? Sorry I ddin't reply earlier-I have not been feeling well and I have not been able to check the boards. I hope your test went well. Did you have any problems with it? When do you receive the results?

I have had at least half a dozen overnight dex tests and I get the racing heart and the burst of energy, but it doesn't make me very sick. The dex-CRH test is another matter, entirely. I got quite sick with that test. I also had the high-dose dex test and that was a humdinger, as well. The overnight low-dose dex test is comparable to when I have high cortisol-I have lots of energy (usually in the middle of the night) and my heart races and I cannot sleep. I also get very hungry.

I hope your test went well. Are they testing you for pituitary Cushing's?

Take care.

Meri
