I have had to have two root canals in the past 3 months from crumbling teeth. I also had to have my wisdom teeth pulled because they were crumbling. I have hypercalcemia (high calcium) and hyperparathyroidism (high PTH), as well as a severe vit D deficiency. I also have Cuhsing's disease (excess cortisol.) I have osteomalacia, osteopenia, and osteoporosis. My teeth have been crumbling and literally falling apart for the past year. I just turned 29. I still have another root canal to look forward to and need more teeth pulled. I also have several cavities. I used to have very healthy teeth. It is def caused by the hormone imbalance in my body. My dentist is going to Europe on me! Take care. I know it's not any fun...
