Yes. The major concern of physicians is that the tumor will compress the optic 
chiasm which is located above the pituitary gland. Compression of the optic 
chiasm leads to loss of 1/2 of thefield of vision in each eye. My tumor grew 
out rather than up and invaded an area known as the cavernous sinus. The some 
of the nerves that control the muscles of the eye run through this area. If the 
tumor invades this area you can develop double vision. This was one of the 
earlier signs of my tumor.
