My understanding of this is that the Sandostatin  suppresses the growth 
hormone, and if it works you won't require anything else.  The way that the 
Somavert works is that it stops that growth hormone from being converted by the 
liver to IGF-1.  Essentially both of them work to prevent high levels of IGF-1. 
 So as long as your IGF-1 is reasonable and you are feeling well I don't think 
you have to worry about your growth hormone level.   Have a good day - Chris -
