How about trying to get off these meds however, do it slowly and consult your
doctor. It may be your body telling you that you
don't need these drugs at all. I'll tell you why. I was given anxiety meds to
control some of the weird symptoms I was having.
The meds actually made it worse. It took a long time to taper off meds but
overall I'm doing better. I also decided to continue with my peer counseling
sessions and decided to tx with an ayurvedic doctor. Ayurvedic medicine is the
oldest form of medicine in the world. My UCSF neurologist actually knows about
it.

Try seeing an MD that also is a homeopathic doctor. So you have tried all these
drugs and it doesn't seem to be working. FYI my Indian Ayurvedic doctor said in
India there is not such thing as depression they only treat imbalances. Yes we
are hormonal, and have weird stuff going on. But our bodies are powerful and
can heal if we give them the chance.

Also going the alternative way may take longer to heal but it may be worth
while doing so. I wish you all the best and hope you figure out what you have
to do. I do want to congratulate you for trying all these drugs and being
persistent. This show you have the will to recover and you will. Best to you.

I brought that same article to my doc (apathy was a good description for how
bad I felt!) and as a result, tried a bunch of the ADD drugs for apathy in
combination with my pit meds. For what it's worth here are the results I got...

Bromocriptine alone = severe apathy, mental deficits and exhaustion. Horrible.
Bromocriptine + Strattera = exhaustion only
Bromocriptine + Provigil = mental deficits only
Dostinex alone = no mental deficits, but could barely move or stay awake
Dostinex + Ritalin (short-acting type) = better, but woooo! up and down and up
and down...
Dostinex + Provigil = best combo of the bunch, for me

I'm grateful that my Dr was willing to try all this -- although none of them
was perfect for me these stimulants also really helped me to keep going (and go
to work) when I could barely function without them. But, one caveat...in my
case, it looks like my apathy was caused by a severe, long-undiagnosed GH
deficiency. Once that problem was addressed, my apathy (and need for
stimulants) immediately began to recede -- I've been off all of them for 6
months now.
